Most people will purchase a timeshare while on vacation. Why? The timeshare companies know that you, as a vacationer are a captive audience. You are living on their resort site for one or two weeks. You rarely leave because you have everything you need. You are totally relaxed. You are experiencing amazing colors and beauty all around you. Your beds are comfortable and your rooms are clean. You are being waited on like you have never been waited on before. You really don't want to go home.

You begin to fantasize about living where you are vacationing. You have been set up and will listen intently to the timeshare presentation and succumb to the sirens song and promises. All is well. You sign the papers and you are on your way home dreaming of your return the next year.
When at home, reality hits. You just spent thousands of dollars (on average $15,000 up to $80,000) for your new timeshare.
